Found in the woods close to where I
live in Maidencombe, Devon, United Kingdom, an old scent or cologne
bottle with a drop aperture. Think how many years it would have taken
for the tiny amounts of soil to percolate inside the bottle - ultimately
providing a miniature encapsulated ecosystem for life to sprout. A
tiny miracle of the persistence of nature to succeed ... See video in right hand side panel.
