...the outfit you gave me on Tuesday. Yes, I can get into it and yes, I can do the zip up but....there's a logistics snag. It's TOO short! I must admit, you would look sensational in it, but me, we..eelllll, I'm really not sure. I'll tell you what, if I feel a bit better, I'll give you a preview of the outfit and you'll see what I mean. We could be back to the Stormtrooper get-up...

Header still not working....
You can have any pic you like but without any text whatsoever! Everyone's complaining and asking for a solution, but blogspot either can't or won't help. Going on the forum again to see if I can get help.
Service (not normal) has been resumed
Internet crashed at 1.20 this afternoon (just as I was trying to get a bet on horse race....yes, it bloody well won) and TV went on the blink. Attheraces reported they were having transmission problems at the same time so....who knows? Been in bed most of the day (all right for some eh?) but do feel a little better and the internet is up and firing. May have some more info for you a little later, so stay tuned my little complainers....

As you see, we're having problems with the header...
You can either have picture full size and NO text or text with one third size picture! It's universal with blogspot, so we'll have to wait for them to fix this annoying 'bug'.

Sorry but...
I've gone down with bronchitis again. Very unwell. Try to get going for tomorrow.

Still got loads more pics from......
....last night but will hold them over for later....don't worry, I won't forget!
Mouldy Dick thought it was...
...the biggest cock-up he'd ever seen. But as he's only ever seen 200 runs with his Newcastle mob, he's not seen that much. I prefer to think of last night's run as a 'Classic cock-up'. You all really didn't like that silly sod 'round again' loop at the start did you? "What was the point of that?" DERRRRR, you dillbrains....I had to get up to the top of the hill before the rest of you wallies, so that's 'cos why. Good boy Numb Nuts, you sorted them out with the ff'fin arrow and the cross stopping them from returning to the pub. And Bobby, you did exactly wot was required, changing the cross to an arrow and marking the on home when they'd all gone past.
For all those (including Mouldy Dick) that got lost or confused, the following REAL hashers went round the entire trail on rails and simply nodded their heads sadly at those who didn't.....
Chuff Chuff, Cinderfella, Piddler, Deep Semen and Doris to name just five. One final observation to you all..............................BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! And Poacher managed to find his way COMPLETELY (NO short cutting) round the 3 kilometre field even before I got across the field to put down pointer arrows. So that's six hashers.....I've got more names, but it's getting a bit boring now......Yes I'm tetchy again.....
Now you're being greedy....
....as you've had a dozen pics already. Yes, I've got loads more from the Draw at The Wild Goose...but can I have a cuppa first?
Be back this evening with pics etc...
...unfortunately picked up cold from yesterday and not feeling that good...but a blogger's gotta do what a...
Monday 10 December 2007
Listen to Wigwam at the circle...
...please. The hares have to be on the course before you lot start off. Remember it's a Wanda Treasure Trail and all Wandas will be observing that you follow the trail and don't short cut!
Tonight you will discover Route 66....
....namely my old cross country course I used to train on in 1966! As soon as we start the trail this evening, the usual smart asses will say: "I know where we're going!" Well, the great thing about smart asses is that they are usually wrong, and tonight they definitely will be...trust me, I'm an ex... There WILL be a treasure trail so you had better listen (you won't) to the hare or you may well be disqualified...even if you have found a marker! Gerry's got Butcombe on at £2 a pint and there's Betty Stoggs at £2.50 amongst others......there will be 3 trails.....short, medium and long with NO regroups. If you aint that dainty on your feet, I recommend the short....if you want to see Route 66 you'll have to do the medium and if you've got a set of wheels which just won't quit...do the long.....ADIOS
It's Monday, lets get ready to ....
...rock and roll....Gotta go to Lidl, Sainsbury, Argos, Market Street and doctor before I get round to the trail down in Combeinteignhead.

My best quote for Mad Max...
Beyond Thunderdome (1985).......'Death is listening and will take the first man who screams' ....Don't you just love it! Runner up quote (again mine) Tina Turner (Auntie) : "But he's just a raggedy man!" Mel Gibson (Max). Probably the best of the Mad Max genre this one.....
Wild Goose tomorrow...
...and I've just received a call from McWot who is only just recovering from the lurgy. Remember: 'Whither wilt I wander with my Wanda-rers'? Got the same dilemma this year. You've got two choices....the river or the hills. Hmmmmmm.......as I've got an extremely hectic schedule tomorrow, I might, just might, go for the live trail.....you know I can, 'cos I've got two secret weapons......walkie talkies and.......HERE'S Bobby! Now then, if you are regulars you know there's been a treasure trail for the past three years on the Christmas draw night. If I've got time and I'm in a good mood, I may do one...a treasure trail you fools not.....
Talk to you when I've had a few down either The Thatch or Wild Goose.....
INCOMING.....
...excuse the poor quality, lighting was non existent in Mojo's and not much better in The London Inn...
About to process...
...last night's Seafront Extravaganza. Wait for the 'INCOMING' signal....around 1.30 pm probably.
