Strange Red Earth
... continues. Note the appearance of the groupie dancing girls and Bobby's agonised 'Where are you going? Come back!' as they disappear around the corner ...
Strange Red Earth
... opening number - permission granted to film. Note Lord Zarquon on keyboard ... he's a crackerjack!
Strange Red Earth ...
... prepare the equipment prior to blast-off at 9:30 pm ... I told Bobby to watch out for the laser mounted on the guitar - if it gets you, it'll cut you in half ... Bobby's now hiding behind a pillar ... sigh

Approaching the Ship Inn ...
... this is what I've been longing for after a 100 minute hash (a really great trail) ... the sanctuary of the On Down and this is one of the reasons I've made the haul down to Kingswear ... this pub was the regional winner of CAMRA's pub of the year in 2006 ...
We've got changed and just enough light ...
... to see the lower ferry coming across the river from Dartmouth. Again high praise for the very old Sanyo Xacti cam - non HD and copes so well with low-light conditions ...
We really have been to Hull and back ...
... it's gone 9 pm and we're still a mile from the pub ... and as you can see, the water is finally getting in the cam ...
Oh dear ...
... the FRB's (front running b******s) have taken all the hash up a hill with no marks and are now legging it back down the hill, causing a mini-pandemonium ... I blame Flowery, myself ... he's too fast for his own good ...

Mysterious Mavis message manifests
... itself ... ribald laughter greets the first few lines as Teapot reads it out ... the laughter gets a little more nervous as the gathered throng finally realises the Birthday Hare really is not going to make an appearance ... we're on our own out there tonight ...
Various circle notices
... as we play for time - still convinced that Mavis is somewhere out there ...

A dubious blonde ...
... I was unsure of the Celtic Blonde, to be sure and asked Numbnuts to check ... he was suspicious and called Cap'n Pugwash over ... he was even more suspicious ... to end the shaggy dog story, he gave me another go on my banjo ...
First nip
... of the day ... a 'nip' is a third of a pint and is the shortened form of nipperkin - a vessel containing half a pint or less ... not many people know that ... hic
Sampling again
... at the Teign House Inn and Pete's (Cap'n Pugwash) Beer Festival ... and yes, you're right, that's Mucking Fuddle serving ...
