As soon as you a torch light up, make your way towards it. You may be given a clue to the best route to start your approach via a small arrow on the ground, you don't have to follow it, it's just a guide.
When you get to a torch, wait until another one lights up - it will be clearly visible and in your line of sight. If you are suddenly confronted by a hedge of fence, you MUST explore a route without clambering through or over obstacles ... a large mass of hashers ignoring this could cause damage. DO NOT climb over BARBED WIRE fences ... you wouldn't on a normal hash, so please don't try it on this one. Fire hares will be observing at such points and you will be seen! Another little tip - we can see you, but you won't be able to see us as for 'flaming' obvious reasons, we won't be using head torches.

Bishop Lacey this evening
The only photo taken on the trail this evening was of Teapot and Wetfart after I had asked their permission, this photo is the header photo above.
Grateful thanks to Wigwam who gave up his day off to come out and assist laying the trail. If I had stayed at home I would have been the poorer for it. Arbie would have been scathing if we had faltered or failed this evening.
Teapot bore the evening stoically and bravely, still taking the roll call and carrying out his duties in the pub as he knew Arbie would have wanted. Both he and Wetfart did the trail together and drew solace from each other's company.
The downdowns in the Bishop Lacey were filmed and they will be posted a little later.
Laying trail at Chudleigh late today
Will be helped by Wigwam with the trail at Chudleigh today. This site will be updated as soon as I get back later this evening.
