We love this clip: Happy Slapper steps up to the oche to present the hashit shirt and gets the Good Old Boys going with her delivery. Happy Slapper isn't going to take any nonsense, however ...

Bash spread at the Cockhaven Manor
... and Roy the landlord is doing 'em proud what with this spread AND the price of beer - £2.80 for Otter Ale and £2.60 a pint for both Red Rock offerings ...
BIG BADGE DOWNDOWN FOR MIGMAN
... and it is a BIG Badge - 700 Runs for Migman who also has a hospital date in the next few days ... All the best, Migs.
And now
... The Greatest Pillock that has ever roamed the Teign Valley Hash is unleashed onto his long-suffering audience ... sigh (from all present)
Wigwam's turn
... to award and he's first in a long queue of hashers all intent on the same mission - to award Teapot before he goes into hospital next Monday for his op ... the Great Hash God Pottsie proves his stamina by supporting our Religious Advisor throughout the downdown ... no mean feat ... All TVH3 wish you the best of luck, Teapot, cheers!
Downdowns commencerido
... and the hero of the night steps up to the oche to present the first DD ... Heeeere's Bobby ...

Quite a novel video clip
... as the hash disembarks from the higher ferry at a trot to rejoin the trail Kingswear side of the river. A long short split has been prepared - the shorts returning along the path between the railway line and river and the longs climbing inland above the railway line ... a little piece of TVH3 history in the making ...
Fiasco Too Far Hash
... 'It's only working, Bobby!' The Daring Duo finally link-up at the next goodie - the Port & Cheese stop ... there's only one small problem - the shorts have gulped all the port, so the longs and mediums will have to make do with a Bourbon and Cheese stop ...

Afternoon trail lay of Fiasco Too Far Hash
... and as a special treat, I've kept the quality as high as I can ... original MP4 file 84.8 MB - compressed to AVI 44.5 MB but still far better resolution than WMV ... here in all its glory is the view from the viewpoint and magnificent Bourbon Stop which the mediums and longs had on the night ... whoa!
Fiasco Too Far Hash - the pub stop
... at the Cherub - built circa 1380 and originally the dwelling of a merchant ... Bobby and I had asked two different bar staff to inform Dan (on-duty barman) that we were arriving (especially staggered to avoid swamping him) but, the message was NOT passed on, resulting in Dan being rather miffed at having to actually work on the night instead of reading a book ... oh well, we tried, didn't we Bobby?
Meanwhile, back to the actual Fiasco Too Far hash
... Melon Picker records the famous words of advice to the hash: 'It's got to be up here!" Hmmm, I don't think so ... by the way, Melon Picker has travelled some distance to get to Kingswear and both Bobs and I thank this Vice Grand Master for his effort - well done my son.
Back to the afternoon before
... the Fiasco Too Far Hash - if you get my drift, Delwyn ... and the intrepid Blues Brothers are en routey across the Dart on a wish and a prayer. They have no idea where they're laying the trail, only a vague hope that the Great Hash God is looking down favourably on them ... sigh
Tuesday 5 October 2010
As expected
... chaos reigns as the hash proceeds in a disorderly manner towards the lower ferry for embarkation to Dartmouth from where the circle will be convened ... we did tell you, didn't we. A pretty good result as only Wetfart will miss the ferry and have to take the next one across.
