We'll start this feature tomorrow at the Trawler Inn at Brixham ... each On Down will now have a rating according to ales on tap, quality and of course - price ... let's actually see how these pubs fare with this most important ingredient ... let's face it, we wouldn't go if they only had tea and coffee, would we? There'll be three 'experts' giving their opinions and from what they say, a rating will be given ...

Side panels content
... is still to be put in place ... have to have content posted as the panels tend to collapse on this template when they're left vacant ...
Blogger has made changes ...
... recently and one thing is clear, they don't cater for - or like - hacked templates ... preferring you to use their own range of templates. That's ok, if you want to be a nameless zombie, but we like to be different, so we'll keep our hacked template and may even change it for another from our select little library, built up when we were exploring possibilities. Still got a lot of things to do before we change over - but interestingly note that some of you have found us already ...

The English Riviera (with eyesores) ... video
Forget the tourist board blurb ... this is a sweep of Torbay as it is ... balloon is tethered - whatever the Mayor of Torbay says, the locals look on it as a bloody eyesore ... and the tankers lying in the bay regularly discharge all manner of effluent ... still, the sun is shining ... Maidencombe is fortunately around the headland to the left a few miles and still relatively unspoilt ... vid clips to follow ...
