Monday's hash
...at the Shipwrights Arms Shaldon and unless you get there very early you are unlikely to get a parking place in the miniscule car park serving the pub. There are what appear parking places just to the right of the entrance but be careful....they are for residents only and some of them have been understandably upset when we have plonked ourseves there. Go past the pub on your right and about 300 metres away there is some on road parking space on the turning up on the left. Get it? Got it! Good!

...Floss finally stayed long enough on Monday to be awarded his 200 run badge.....well done Floss mate!
Unassuming hero
....Floss (above) was the hero of the hour today seeing me at very short notice for a dental emergency. The antibiotics he prescribed were a life-saver for me as I had been on pain killers ever since returning home from the hash on Monday (and you doubters thought I was dressed up like that just to get pillock points....shame on you)....very grateful to you Floss, a big thankyou.

Just before we sign off for tonight......

I'm going to tell you a stoooory......
...you've gotta be quick to act when you see an opportunity in this dogeatdog world....well here's the stoooory: About a week ago, I was lurking around in my local Lidl late at night (a late local Lidl lurker) when I espied a pile of about 30 or so boxes of clock radios - all reduced to clear......I thought "That's 'andy 'Arry, I'll 'ave some of that son..." and picked three up....there were naff grey ones (grey'll never go out of fashion because grey has never been in fashion....) and some bog standard black ones but my magpie eyes were drawn to the smart red ones.....there were about eight of these....but as I said...I only took three. On getting home and opening one up (see pic above) I was amazed how good it was....and it only bloody well worked well too! The next day I returned to see if there were any more.......BONG....of course there weren't and when I asked an assistant if any more would be forthcoming, he confided that they had been put out at that price by mistake! .....sigh....... well, here's the interesting bit...if you have bothered to read this so far.....CRUISEDOG TOWERS will be offering one of these splendid, funky red gadgets as a prize in a forthcoming competition......if you want to be eligible for this prize you have to e mail (you must know where by now, surely....and don't call....) OR apply by nudging me tomorrow and registering an interest....... now all we need is a competition.......
